Q: How do Roll Up Doors differ from Overhead Doors?

A: Roll-up doors (or sheet doors) have a more compact design that rolls into a tight coil above the opening, requiring minimal backroom compared to traditional sectional overhead doors with horizontal track systems.

Q:  Are Roll Up Doors difficult to install?

A:  No, not at all - smaller roll up doors, can be installed by the typical DIYer (with assistance), however, professional installation is recommended for larger more complex installations to ensure safety and prevent issues with spring tension and door operation. Q: How much clearance is required for a typical Roll Up Door?

A: Clearance requirements vary greatly based on model of the door, the size of the door and also if any accessories have been added to the door (such as insulation, manual chain hoists or electric operators). For exact clearance requirements, please reference the product description of the specific model of door you're interested for further details.
